Warehouses in Blaine, Washington

Looking across tidal flats at White Rock, British Columbia.  The buildings at the

right edge of the photo are the border crossing between the U.S. and Canada.

Looking from the marina eastward towards Blaine.  Mt. Baker with a fresh 20 inches of snow.

Ralph Snyder, is a Wheaton schoolmate.  Ralph recruited me to sell dictionaries (yes, Webster), door to door.

My second summer I recruited my own crew.  We've been good friends ever since.

Marina in Blaine.

A fellow dog-walker in late afternoon at Oak Harbor.  The Olympic Mountains in the background.

My sister, Dorothy, enjoying sunset.

The beach scoured by 13 foot tides, waves and storms.  Some days there are pebbles,

and some days, smooth sand.

The End
